We are uprooting ourselves from the familiar to the new, trekking from Colorado to California to start our next chapter.
Along the way, the road has shown us an abundance of entertaining transitional scenes, like this one here at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, near the Nevada border. Last night’s venture into hilly woods for the scalding-springs in Steamboat was otherworldly as well.
Tomorrow we roll down into the Bay Area, and things will become more familiar with each passing day.
As that future unfolds, I’m grateful for these stolen moments of life on Mars.
